2022 Fall Northwest Psychological Convention
Saturday convention workshops to be rescheduled.
Due to the number of presenters and attendees affected by power outages from the windstorm today’s workshops will be rescheduled within the next few weeks. Refunds will be issued to those who cannot attend on the new date. Thank you for your understanding.
Make plans now to attend the Fall 2022 Northwest Psychological Convention, presented by Washington State Psychological Association and Alaska Psychological Association, on November 4th - 5th. Our virtual convention will be held via video conferencing with a variety of topical live workshops to choose from. The virtual conference format allows psychologists throughout Washington and Alaska who have not attended in the past to do so from the comfort of their home offices.
Perspective Taking: Sustaining and Progressing Practice into 2023 was chosen as the convention theme.
The convention will also allow WSPA and AK-PA members to attend workshops free with no CE. Should a member from either association decide they want the CE credits after attending, they can pay for that workshop and complete a workshop evaluation form.
A keynote speaker will be announced once details are finalized, and the Early Career Committee will hold its annual celebration for Newly Licensed Psychologists (NLP) on Saturday, Nov. 5th. The celebration is followed by a 1 CE Ethics workshop and NLPs from Alaska will also be invited to attend.
